Unique Identification Number (UIN)
Registered students are assigned a Unique Identification Number (UIN). This UIN is used in place of your Social Security Number (if applicable) to help identify you in University system.
You can find your UIN by logging into the web Self-Service system at https://apps.uillinois.edu/selfservice. In the "Main Menu" click on "Account Billing Information." Then click on "Student Account Summary by Term." Your UIN is the nine digit number located in the top right-hand corner preceding your name.
