Engineering Online Policies

All students, regardless of their status as non-degree or degree, are held to the same standards. Students enrolled in a course should familiarize themselves with the policies of the instructor as they pertain to assignments, homework, illnesses, and other emergencies.

All exams must be proctored. Students are responsible for submitting the name, title, email address and phone number of an individual who is willing to proctor their exams by the first Friday of classes. A proctor may not be related to (by blood, marriage, or other legal relationship), report to, have equivalent title, or responsibilities, with the individual enrolled in the course. See Choosing a Proctor for more information. Each person will have to complete a Proctor Approval Form and be approved by the Office of Continuing Engineering Education. Exams will be given to students enrolled in the online courses on the same day as the on-campus students, unless prior approval is given by the course instructor or the Office of Continuing Engineering Education.
