BME Certificate FAQs

How many credit hours are required for completion of the BME certificate?
The BME certificate requires the completion of 6 credit hours.

What must I do to earn a BME certificate?

How much time do I have to complete the certificate?
There is currently no time limit for completing courses to earn the BME certificate.

If I do not earn at least a B- the first time around, may I enroll again?
Yes.

Do I need to submit GRE scores? How about the TOEFL?
Neither the GRE nor TOEFL scores are required.

Can I transfer credit from another University into the BME certificate?
No.

Can I complete the BME certificate and then use it toward a graduate degree?
Yes. Up to 12 credit hours taken prior to admission will count toward a graduate degree if admitted.
