CEE 440 — Solid and Hazardous Waste

Course Description: In this course you will learn the principles that govern the transport, fate, and remediation of hazardous chemicals in the subsurface, including advection, dispersion, sorption, interphase mass transfer, and transformation. You will also evaluate remediation technologies in the constructs of these governing principles and determine the physical, chemical, and biological properties that control their application.
