CS 527 — Advanced Topics in Software Engineering

COURSE REFERENCE NUMBER (CRN): 41597

Course Description: This course teaches high-level, up-to-date topics in software engineering including new methods, models, and theories. It includes advanced topics in software engineering, including fault-tolerant software, software architecture, software patterns, multi-media software, and knowledge-based approaches to software engineering. The course also includes a number of case studies.

Prerequisites: A first course in software engineering (such as CS 427), and a second course in software engineering (such as CS 428).

Credit: 4 hours (counts toward a certificate in Computer Science)
